 "Games of SKATE" Contest #1... April 27th

 

In Memory of Vance Chaney...

It was a beautiful day in Shell Beach when we all gathered together to celebrate the life of Vance Chaney. Vance died suddenly in a motorcycle accident on February 22nd. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Read more here.

 

Volcom Goldfish Contest - Sat. Feb. 9th at the Rock

The latest Volcom contest went off at Cayucos Pier on a solid 6', offshore day!  All divisions of contestants were challenged by the set waves and trying to squeeze in point scoring rides.  A great day was had by all and tons of prizes were handed out!  See ya at the next one!

Games of S.K.A.T.E. has begun! Contest #3 is June 29th!

Central Coast Surfboards is presenting "Games of S.K.A.T.E." , the last Sunday each month thru August. Games of SKATE consist of various contestants basically playing a game of H.O.R.S.E. Each skater does a trick and all the following skates have to replicate it. All entry fees will be donated for the building of the NEW SLO skate park!  Age groups will be: 11 & under, 12-14, 15-17, 18 & up. There will also be an Ollie contest. The first event is FREE! Each succeeding contest will cost an extra $1!  Lots of prizes will be awarded! Sign ups start at 8:30am. Competition starts at 10am. All events will be at the SLO skate park on Santa Rosa St. in SLO. Call CCS for more details at 805-541-1129!
